Released by Biden, Licensed by Newsom: Details Surrounding Illegal Alien Trucker Jashanpreet Singh Are Infuriating

Discern Report

In the heart of America’s vast highway system, where families travel to build memories and workers haul the goods that sustain our nation, tragedy struck with devastating force on a stretch of California’s I-10 Freeway. A 21-year-old illegal alien from India, Jashanpreet Singh, plowed his massive semi-truck into slow-moving traffic, killing at least three innocent people and injuring several others.

Dashcam footage captured the horrifying moment: no brakes applied, just a relentless surge into the jam, as if lives meant nothing in the face of reckless abandon. Toxicology reports later confirmed what witnesses suspected—Singh was impaired, leading to his arrest on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. This  preventable catastrophe was born from failed policies that prioritize open borders over the safety of American citizens.

Singh’s story begins not on the roads of California, but at our southern border in March 2022. Encountered by Border Patrol agents in the El Centro Sector, he was an unlawful entrant, one of millions who crossed under the watchful neglect of the Biden regime. Instead of detention or deportation, he was released into the interior of the United States under their so-called “alternatives to detention” program, left to roam free while awaiting an immigration hearing that, for too many, never truly holds them accountable.

Fast-forward to this week, and that decision has blood on its hands. Singh, now behind the wheel of a commercial rig, turned a routine drive into a scene of carnage in San Bernardino County. Immigration and Customs Enforcement swiftly lodged a detainer against him after his arrest, confirming his lack of lawful status—a stark reminder that our laws are only as strong as those willing to enforce them.

What makes this even more infuriating is how Singh ended up with a commercial driver’s license (CDL) in the first place. California, under its progressive governance, has long flouted federal standards requiring English proficiency for truck drivers. Singh’s case echoes that of Harjinder Singh—no relation—an illegal immigrant who crossed in 2018, secured a CDL in the Golden State despite failing English and road sign tests, and then caused a fatal crash in Florida last August, claiming three lives.

These incidents are symptoms of a deeper rot. How many more families must be shattered before we demand that those piloting 80,000-pound vehicles on our interstates can at least read the signs warning of danger ahead or communicate with law enforcement in a crisis? Or that they are American citizens?

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy has been trying to address the issue swiftly, saying earlier this month, “I put states on notice this summer: enforce the Trump Administration’s English language requirements or the checks stop coming.”

He drove the point home, declaring, “California is the only state in the nation that refuses to ensure big rig drivers can read our road signs and communicate with law enforcement. This is a fundamental safety issue that impacts you and your family on America’s road.”

Buy physical precious metals before the next gold and silver surge. Don’t buy numismatics! Buy pure bullion instead. Whether with cash or retirement funds, learn how we can help you prepare for financial turbulence ahead.

Just last week, the Trump administration backed those words with action, withholding over $40 million in federal highway safety funding from California for their stubborn non-compliance.

The victims on that I-10 weren’t statistics; they were sons, daughters, parents—folks heading home after a long day or embarking on a journey full of promise. Their lives were extinguished in an instant by someone who shouldn’t have been here, let alone licensed to drive a vehicle capable of such destruction. This crash is an indictment of the Biden era’s immigration chaos and California Governor Gavin Newsom’s stubborn hatred for the rule of law.

Under their watch, millions poured across the border, released with little oversight, and too often, they’ve gone on to commit crimes that scar communities forever. Conservative media has documented case after case: illegal aliens freed under these policies, only to wreak havoc later. From violent assaults to deadly wrecks, the pattern is clear, and it’s heartbreaking.

As a nation founded on principles of faith, family, and freedom, we cannot stand idly by while such threats multiply. Our highways are the arteries of American life, carrying fathers to work, mothers to school pickups, and children to places of worship. Defending them means upholding standards that reflect our values—values rooted in responsibility, accountability, and the common good.

The Bible teaches us to be stewards of what we’ve been given, to protect the vulnerable and seek justice. Letting unqualified, unlawful individuals commandeer our roads flies in the face of that. It’s not compassion to ignore borders. It’s negligence that invites tragedy.

Critics will cry foul, claiming this is about politics rather than people. But let’s be real: legacy media and their allies in Washington have spent years downplaying the border crisis, gaslighting Americans into believing it’s all under control. They parrot narratives that paint enforcement as cruelty, while families like those shattered on the I-10 pay the ultimate price. I’ve seen enough of this charade to know better. As a journalist committed to the truth, I refuse to echo those hollow assurances. The facts speak for themselves: Singh’s release in 2022 set the stage for this horror, and California’s lax licensing amplified the risk.

Broader implications loom large. With truckers hauling everything from food to fuel, any lapse in standards ripples through our economy and daily lives. English proficiency isn’t a luxury. It’s a necessity for navigating a country where signs, signals, and emergency communications are in our common tongue. Duffy highlighted this during a recent press conference, championing rules that ensure drivers can respond effectively in split-second situations. Yet California persists in defiance, the lone holdout among 50 states, prioritizing inclusivity over safety. This isn’t progress. It’s a regression that endangers us all.

Related stories underscore the urgency. Bodycam footage from New Mexico shows another illegal immigrant trucker struggling with basic English during a stop, highlighting the communication barriers that can turn routine encounters deadly. A Department of Transportation report on Harjinder Singh’s case revealed his failures in language tests, yet he still got behind the wheel. These aren’t anomalies—they’re warnings. If we don’t act, more innocents will suffer.

The Trump administration’s funding cut is a step in the right direction, forcing accountability where it’s sorely needed. But it’s only the beginning. We must restore integrity to our immigration system, ensuring that those who enter do so lawfully and contribute without posing threats. That means swift deportations for violators, robust border security, states aligning with federal mandates that safeguard our roads, and a requirement to speak English. Anything less betrays the trust of the American people.

In the end, this tragedy on the I-10 is a call to awaken. It’s a reminder that freedom isn’t free—it demands vigilance against policies that erode our foundations. For the sake of faith that guides us, families that sustain us, and the freedom we cherish, we must demand better. No more releases without consequence, no more licenses without competence. The lives lost deserve that much, and so do we all.

can the politicians like newscum and bden be prosecuted fr criminal negligent accessory to homicide? if so, why isn’t trump and bondi doing it? and if not – change the laws now s that they can be prosecuted in future. Why arent these actions bring taken? talk is cheap. If you’re family member is killed by this culturalmarxist group of crooks – you have the right to pursue the justice denied by an utterly corrupt state that refuses to do its duty to its citizens. Buy a gun. or make a ….b.

Illinois gov George Ryan went to prison for federal corruption charges, including bribery and racketeering, related to a scheme involving the illegal sale of commercial driver’s licenses that resulted in the deaths of six children. He was convicted in 2006 and served more than five years in federal prison.

So why isn’t Duffy setting up Feds as checkpoints at all highways exiting California and NY? Not that hard if you want to save lives and deport these third world trash people.

This can be done, but do you have any idea how many roads cross the cali border? And there are only two borders to watch. North and east are it.

Why are we tolerating libtards? Why do we sit here and allow them to systematically destroy our country? Why do we allow them to carry out their destruction of our nation?Libtards are MRNA injections on our lives.

Just finished a road trip involving a lot of I-80 and secondary roads north and south of 80. Obviously loads of trucks out there. EVERY place I stopped for fuel, snacks, rest, bathroom breaks, etc. was predominantly foreign drivers. A few normal looking guys, some with spouses, but the vast majority were definitely foreign. I’ve traveled a lot of the northern hemisphere so I know a bit of what I’m saying.
When I’m doing 80MPH on the interstate (posted speed limit) and a 53′ rig blows by me and is having difficulty staying within the lines, I make sure I’m no where near him. At the rest stops, heaps of non English is heard.
This adds a new dimension to driving, avoiding the trucks and staying even more alert to their whereabouts. One almost wants to avoid the interstate system since this is where the truck drivers ply their trade.

More evidence that the democRAT is far more concerned about non-Americans that it ever was concerned about Americans.
