Life in the Trump Administration moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
Earlier today, former National Security Advisor Mike Waltz stepped down following “Signalgate” and the infiltration of an anti-Trump journalist into a private government chat. Now, President Trump has declared that he’ll be nominating Waltz as Ambassador to the United Nations.
As he posted on Truth Social:
I am pleased to announce that I will be nominating Mike Waltz to be the next United States Ambassador to the United Nations. From his time in uniform on the battlefield, in Congress and, as my National Security Advisor, Mike Waltz has worked hard to put our Nation’s Interests first. I know he will do the same in his new role. In the interim, Secretary of State Marco Rubio will serve as National Security Advisor, while continuing his strong leadership at the State Department. Together, we will continue to fight tirelessly to Make America, and the World, SAFE AGAIN. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
🚨 #BREAKING: President Trump has just announced he’ll be nominating Mike Waltz for UN Ambassador
And Marco Rubio will take over as interim National Security Advisor, while remaining as Secretary of State

This move would put Waltz outside of the loop of policymaking. U.N. Ambassador is a role that is more about building and maintaining relationships than deciding how to operate. As a NeoCon, this move has been embraced by many in the MAGA movement.

UN Ambassador? We shouldn’t be in the UN, and the UN HQ shouldn’t be on our soil!
It’s a “bump upstairs” move…the kind corporate makes all the time. People who cause problems are removed from line management and given a “better position upstairs” heading up a peripheral department that is destined for elimination. Everybody knows the score, including the one removed. But it allows the problem person to save face in the company, allows those who hired and promoted him in the first place to escape criticism, and gives him time to find another job and leave on his own or be let go because the department is “reorganized.” That way the useless schmuck can conceal the truth and go to another company to mess them up, too…likely at a higher pay.
That guy was NOT a MAGAdon and never was. He needed to go.
I hereby nominate Sundance for the position of National Security Advisor. Do I hear a second?
GET OUT OF THE UN. Is this the second or third dumb thing Trump as done so far. We can still count it on one hand, maybe there more I’m missing but a UN Ambassador, it’s not needed.
GREAT MOVE! Make him ambassador to the UN. Then pull out of the UN.
