The notorious CARE Clinic in Bellevue, Nebraska, formerly operated by late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart until his death at 81 last year, is suspected of illegal activity.
It was previously reported that Tyrone Malloy would be seeing patients at the facility, despite having lost his medical license for fraud. Malloy has a checkered past; in addition to serving four years in prison and six years probation for Medicaid fraud, he has also been the subject of numerous malpractice complaints. One was related to the 1999 death of a newborn baby after a C-section, and the 2008 death of a 23-year-old woman. In the latter case, Malloy reportedly perforated her uterus and intestines while committing a 25-week dilation and evacuation (D&E) c-section.
Malloy is not registered to practice medicine in Nebraska, and an anonymous whistleblower reported this to the state of Nebraska. Janine Weatherby, Carhart’s daughter, gave an interview saying that Malloy took over from her father as medical director, despite not being licensed in Nebraska.
This has caused state investigations to take place, and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) wrote in an e-mail this week that Malloy “failed to respond to a request for additional documents to complete his application within 150 days and his application was closed.” […]
