Humiliated and Humbled, Hollywood Goes Low-Key After Trump’s Historic Win

Discern Report

In the wake of Kamala Harris’s defeat to Donald Trump in the recent presidential election, Hollywood is grappling with a stark realization: its influence on American culture and politics may not be as significant as once thought.

A prominent Hollywood talent manager revealed to Vulture that despite endorsements from some of the world’s biggest stars, Harris failed to secure victory.

“Hollywood doesn’t matter as much as it thinks it matters,” the manager noted, reflecting on the endorsements by A-listers like Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and George Clooney, which did not sway voters as anticipated.

The entertainment industry is now facing a moment of introspection, with many in Hollywood acknowledging that the celebrity-driven political activism seen during Trump’s first term, often referred to as the “Trump Resistance Playbook,” is unlikely to be repeated. There’s a growing consensus that the industry had leaned too heavily into woke politics, potentially alienating a significant portion of the American audience.

In the aftermath of the election, Hollywood insiders predict a shift in strategy. With Trump’s re-election, there’s an expectation of less political sermonizing from the industry, a move away from the “woke” narrative, and possibly more media mergers as studios reassess their direction.

The departure of executives who were specifically hired to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in film and TV has already begun, signaling a possible retreat from the social justice focus that characterized much of the last decade’s content.

  • Why We Sell Gold and Silver by Weight, NOT Based on “Rarity” or “Collectability”

This election has served as a wake-up call for Hollywood, highlighting that while celebrities can command attention, their political endorsements might not translate into electoral influence. As the industry looks to the future under another Trump administration, the focus might shift towards entertainment that unites rather than divides, attempting to reclaim lost cultural relevance.

Three Reasons a Coffee Gift Set From This Christian Company Is Perfect for Christmas

Promised Grounds Gift Pack

When you’re searching for a Christmas gift that’s meaningful, useful, and rooted in faith, you don’t want to settle for anything generic. This season is filled with noise — mass-produced products, last-minute picks, and trends that fade as quickly as they appear. But one gift stands apart because it blends genuine quality with a message that matters: a coffee gift set from Promised Grounds Coffee.

This small Christian-owned company has become a favorite among believers who want to support faith-driven businesses while giving friends and family something they’ll actually enjoy. Here are three reasons a Promised Grounds Coffee gift set may be the most thoughtful and impactful present you give this year.

1. It’s Truly Delicious Coffee

Too many “gift-worthy” coffees look beautiful in the package but disappoint when the cup is poured. Promised Grounds takes the opposite approach — exceptional taste first, thoughtful presentation second.

Their beans are sourced with care, roasted in small batches, and crafted to bring out a rich, smooth flavor profile that appeals to both casual drinkers and true coffee lovers. Whether someone enjoys bold, dark roasts or lighter, more delicate blends, every sip reflects quality that stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the biggest specialty brands.

Simply put: this coffee is good. Really good. Some say it’s absolutely fantastic. If you want a gift that won’t be re-gifted, ignored, or shoved in a cabinet, this is it.

2. It Spreads the Word While Serving a Real Purpose

There are many Christian gifts that are meaningful… but not exactly practical. There are also useful gifts that have nothing to do with faith. Promised Grounds Coffee bridges both worlds beautifully.

Each gift set delivers an encouraging, faith-centered message through its packaging and presentation — a simple but powerful reminder of God’s goodness during the Christmas season. The cups are especially popular and serve as a daily reminder of the blessings from our Lord. At the same time, the product itself is something people will actually use and appreciate every single day.

It’s a gift that uplifts the spirit and fills the mug. A gift that points loved ones toward Scripture while still being part of the normal rhythm of life. And in a culture that increasingly pushes faith to the margins, giving a gift that quietly but confidently honors Christ can make a deeper impact than you might expect.

3. It’s Affordable, Valuable, and Elegantly Presented

Many people want to give something meaningful without breaking their Christmas budget. Promised Grounds Coffee strikes that perfect balance — the sets look and feel premium, but the price remains accessible.

The packaging is classy, clean, and gift-ready, making it ideal for:

  • Family members of all ages
  • Co-workers or employees
  • Church friends or small-group leaders
  • Hosts, neighbors, and last-minute gift needs

It’s the kind of gift that feels more expensive than it is — and more thoughtful than most of what you’ll find on store shelves.

The Perfect Blend of Faith, Flavor, and Christmas Cheer

A coffee gift set from Promised Grounds Coffee checks every box: a gift that tastes amazing, conveys your faith, supports a Christian business, and brings daily enjoyment to the person who receives it. In a season when so many gifts are forgotten, this one stands out for all the right reasons.

If you want a Christmas present that reflects your values and delivers genuine joy, Promised Grounds Coffee is the perfect place to start.

Hollyweird has been turning out a string of losses for a decade. People will pay to be entertained. All people. Hollyweird abandoned the higher power. They thought they were the god’s themselves and became misled. There really is only one way back from the abyss they find themselves in now.

Totally. I would rather see a “no name” actor in a movie than any of these criminals any day of the week. I am sick of seeing them and have been boycotting since the 80’s any of them suspect of demonrattery.

They exposed their level of intelligence by actually believing that someone as stupid as Harris was presidential material, and they wasted millions of dollars on the idea. For eight years they ran their mouths constantly, spewing hatred and destroyed their industry in the process. It’s bad enough that Hollywood produces cinematic garbage but no one wants to pay 20 bucks to see some bucket mouth who hates them on the big screen.

Well, there is that and the fact, that many have sold their souls to get the big bucks and fame they crave. There are lots of good actors out there; they are usually found doing off Broadway plays or regional theater; only a handful either get lucky or claw their way too the top.

Many of them were paid enormous amounts of money to campaign for Harris. One thing about actors that people must remember is that they often are spouting lines that someone else has written for their paycheck. It was just “The Price is Right” in real life.

The anti American Christmas hating man hating radical left has got to get out of the mainstream. My poor beloved Marvel superheroes have been corrupted and bastardized. If that genre was only done RIGHT. Such a shame.

I spend time exploring the pirated movies of the dark web and I have seen a marked increase in offerings from outside the US. While Hollywood has concentrated on woke culture, India, Europe, and others are putting out actual entertainment. LA may be in for a shock once this translates into continued box office loses, because the foreign stuff is starting to get good….

Well it’s clear Kamala didn’t pay them enough. Oprah half heartedly promoted Kamala for 10 million dollars, each valued currently as 3 cents apiece. Next time try 10 million in GOLD and Oprah will try harder.

I stopped watching movies and TV shows when all the ‘smart ones’ were black characters with dumb white neighbors.
I watched one where a ‘smart sophisticated’ black man was fixed up for a blind date by his dumb white neighbor and when they met, the girl was knockout bombshell, but the black dude dumped her because she wasn’t ‘intellectually stimulating’ enough for his taste.
    Riiiiiiiight.

Actually, celebrity endorsement is a negative. Hollywood entertains us (or use to) and Americans admire their beauty, talent, and wealth…but not their lifestyle and definitely not their brains. Entertainers are seen as bimbos and moral bottom feeders who have serial relationships, and are sexual perverts, drunks, and drug addicts. Under the age of about 25, only the low-functioning would take life or political advice from an entertainer. They’re richer…but we are way smarter…and much better human beings…than they are.

It doesn’t matter what they say. “You will know them by their fruits.” It’s too late for them now, they can’t even do a remake of Snow White. Hollywood is finished soon to be replace by AI.

    Hellywood is OVAH!
Nobody cares and it stands barefaced, naked and filthy before the entire world.
Nothing good has come out of Hollywood for at least 15 years.
    Nobody cares about the Oscars!
Nobody cares about what the latest hook up or breakup or scandal of the “stars” is anymore.
Normal people are disgusted with the dark rituals and perversions that they’ve been shoving down everybody’s throat.
The industry doesn’t need them anymore. It’s got AI!
AI can take their image and voice and make any movie it wants within minutes. It doesn’t need hair and make up, lighting guys or sets and designers or even script writers. It can all be done with the press of a button.
But even that doesn’t matter anymore.
It doesn’t matter if they pivot to something else.
They went too far and now the culture has rejected them. So has God by the looks of it as their multimillion dollar homes in LA are burnt to a crisp.
