When Apple strove to recover from their down period between the reigns of Steve Jobs, they needed a catchy slogan to drive them forward. So, from 1997 to 2002, they ran with “Think Different.”

It was well produced and widely popular, and while advertising cannot overcome lack of quality, Apple was able to match their marketing innovations with technological ones. As a result, both the campaign and the company were successful.

Promised Grounds

Fast forward to 2025 and things are very different. Tech companies have changed. Marketing and advertising have changed. Most importantly, the mindsets behind actions across western society have dramatically changed. Far too many are automatons with no creativity and even less ambition.

This video from Truthstream Media depicts not only the past versus present but hints at a near future dystopia where the last remnants of human decision-making are replaced fully by artificial intelligence.
