Donald Trump Jr. Considering a Run for President in 2028

Discern Report

When President Donald Trump sat down for an interview with Fox News last month, anchor Bret Baier asked what should have been a softball question: “Do you view Vice President JD Vance as your successor, the Republican nominee in 2028?”

Trump’s response was glaring.

“No, but he’s very capable,” the president said matter-of-factly. “I mean, I don’t think that it, you know, I think you have a lot of very capable people. So far, I think he’s doing a fantastic job. It’s too early, we’re just starting.”

The ease with which Trump threw his vice president under the bus came as a shock to observers who expected Vance to carry on the MAGA torch when Trump leaves office in 2028.

But it came as little surprise to several in Trump’s inner circle, who spoke with Mediaite on condition of anonymity and said the remarks reflected the president’s desire to keep his dynasty alive past the expiration of his own second term in the White House.

Three high-level sources told Mediaite that Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son and an omnipresent MAGA evangelist across the internet, is seriously considering a run for president in 2028.

  • Why We Sell Gold and Silver by Weight, NOT Based on “Rarity” or “Collectability”

“Don has been the most politically involved of all the Trump kids and has always kept the lanes open for a presidential run,” one White House insider and close friend of the Trump family said. “He is a valued voice for his father, and a real possibility to be a contender in 2028.”

Trump Jr. boasts his own loyal following, a successful show on Rumble, and a strong presence on social media with more than 14.6 million followers on X. He serves as a key advisor to his father – he was credited with advocating for Trump to choose Vance as his running mate – and hit the campaign trail aggressively in the run up to the 2024 election.

“Don Jr. has long been a key voice in influencing cabinet picks, policy, and potential endorsements,” the Trump insider said. “He has also consistently been the most active on the campaign trail for the president as well as his endorsed candidates.” […]

Three Reasons a Coffee Gift Set From This Christian Company Is Perfect for Christmas

Promised Grounds Gift Pack

When you’re searching for a Christmas gift that’s meaningful, useful, and rooted in faith, you don’t want to settle for anything generic. This season is filled with noise — mass-produced products, last-minute picks, and trends that fade as quickly as they appear. But one gift stands apart because it blends genuine quality with a message that matters: a coffee gift set from Promised Grounds Coffee.

This small Christian-owned company has become a favorite among believers who want to support faith-driven businesses while giving friends and family something they’ll actually enjoy. Here are three reasons a Promised Grounds Coffee gift set may be the most thoughtful and impactful present you give this year.

1. It’s Truly Delicious Coffee

Too many “gift-worthy” coffees look beautiful in the package but disappoint when the cup is poured. Promised Grounds takes the opposite approach — exceptional taste first, thoughtful presentation second.

Their beans are sourced with care, roasted in small batches, and crafted to bring out a rich, smooth flavor profile that appeals to both casual drinkers and true coffee lovers. Whether someone enjoys bold, dark roasts or lighter, more delicate blends, every sip reflects quality that stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the biggest specialty brands.

Simply put: this coffee is good. Really good. Some say it’s absolutely fantastic. If you want a gift that won’t be re-gifted, ignored, or shoved in a cabinet, this is it.

2. It Spreads the Word While Serving a Real Purpose

There are many Christian gifts that are meaningful… but not exactly practical. There are also useful gifts that have nothing to do with faith. Promised Grounds Coffee bridges both worlds beautifully.

Each gift set delivers an encouraging, faith-centered message through its packaging and presentation — a simple but powerful reminder of God’s goodness during the Christmas season. The cups are especially popular and serve as a daily reminder of the blessings from our Lord. At the same time, the product itself is something people will actually use and appreciate every single day.

It’s a gift that uplifts the spirit and fills the mug. A gift that points loved ones toward Scripture while still being part of the normal rhythm of life. And in a culture that increasingly pushes faith to the margins, giving a gift that quietly but confidently honors Christ can make a deeper impact than you might expect.

3. It’s Affordable, Valuable, and Elegantly Presented

Many people want to give something meaningful without breaking their Christmas budget. Promised Grounds Coffee strikes that perfect balance — the sets look and feel premium, but the price remains accessible.

The packaging is classy, clean, and gift-ready, making it ideal for:

  • Family members of all ages
  • Co-workers or employees
  • Church friends or small-group leaders
  • Hosts, neighbors, and last-minute gift needs

It’s the kind of gift that feels more expensive than it is — and more thoughtful than most of what you’ll find on store shelves.

The Perfect Blend of Faith, Flavor, and Christmas Cheer

A coffee gift set from Promised Grounds Coffee checks every box: a gift that tastes amazing, conveys your faith, supports a Christian business, and brings daily enjoyment to the person who receives it. In a season when so many gifts are forgotten, this one stands out for all the right reasons.

If you want a Christmas present that reflects your values and delivers genuine joy, Promised Grounds Coffee is the perfect place to start.

He’s a great guy, but the POTUS has too much personal attachment to the idea of Don Jr to be objective. There is nothing like experience and JD has shown in just a few weeks he is a powerful force in diplomacy and has great leadership qualities. In addition he is a brilliant and very articulate spokesman. Blood is NOT thicker than (water) EXPERIENCE, as far as I’m concerned. I’m with JD all the way in ’28. Don Jr has NEVER held elecive office. Even putting him on the ticket for Veep would be a stretch IMHO.

Mediaite is a extreme left lunatic owned sight.

I would not even consider a grain of salt with that site.

Uhhh…no. I like Don, Jr. but JD Vance will be on the ticket for 2028 general election unless he messes up big.
. If Don, Jr. wants to run for President, he needs to become a self-made businessman in the next four years, run for congress or maybe Governor of Georgia in 2028 and clean up that Atlanta hot mess, and THEN after gaining business and political experience, run for President in 2032. Going for top job with no credentials is a turn off for voters…it killed Ramaswamy.

I wouldn’t vote for him. I would definitely vote for J.D. Vance, however

Jr. is nothing like his father. I would not vote for him at all. Any guy who has fathered 5 children and then divorces his wife and leaves her with most of the responsibility is a dead head. As I see it he gets bored with the women he chooses and then moves on to the next. JD Vance is to be the president after Trump. We do not need anymore dynasties like the bushes and Bidens and hopefully no Trump dynasties will continue in politics as well.

He would never get my vote nor a lot of people I talk, no entitlement because he is a Trump with a big mouth and treats women badly. His choice in woman usually look like floozies.

This has already been dispelled by Don Jr himself. This should not even be reported here if this is a serious news site. Jr said that he is not considering a presidential run and he worked very hard to get JD Vance the VP position and would be behind JD as the nominee.
