Retarded? Apparently, many on the “woke right” have gone full-retard with their anti-MAGA rhetoric. For REAL news, opinions, and videos that aren’t retarded, check out the fastest growing conservative and Christian news aggregator!

In this Slay News article, Nick R. Hamilton reports that Democratic Senate candidates have built a massive $238 million fundraising advantage over Republicans heading into the 2026 midterms, raising $574 million compared to the GOP’s $336 million and prompting Republican leaders to warn the disparity could jeopardize their Senate majority.

  • Federal Election Commission filings through June 30 show Democratic Senate candidates raised a combined $574 million this cycle versus $336 million for Republicans, creating a roughly $238 million gap.
  • Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA) leads the nation with $77 million raised this cycle and $42.5 million cash on hand, bringing his total as a Senate candidate near $98 million including his 2020 race.
  • Texas Democrat James Talarico ranks second with $68.5 million raised and $21.5 million remaining, while former Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) collected $38.6 million and former North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper raised $35 million.
  • Eight of the ten biggest Senate fundraisers this cycle are Democrats, while the top Republican, Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), has raised only $16.2 million—less than one-quarter of Ossoff’s total.
  • Analysts identify nine highly competitive Senate races in Maine, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio, Alaska, Texas, North Carolina, New Hampshire, and Iowa where the financial imbalance is most consequential.
  • Democrats are outspending Republicans in roughly three-quarters of the most competitive Senate contests, and the gap persists even after excluding a former candidate who raised $21 million before dropping out.
  • NRSC Executive Director Jason Thielman warned the massive financial disparity is the only thing preventing Republicans from having a great night in November, while Sen. Steve Daines said left-wing billionaires are massively outspending the GOP and keeping him up at night.
  • Although Republicans hold advantages at the national committee level—with the RNC reporting $125.5 million cash on hand versus the DNC’s $14.9 million—officials acknowledge committee resources cannot erase the nearly quarter-billion-dollar candidate-level deficit.
  • A June Supreme Court ruling that struck down restrictions on national party committees coordinating spending with candidates could further amplify Democrats’ financial edge by enabling closer coordination on advertising and outreach.
