- According to the report, an unmasked robber pointed a handgun at the restaurant owner, who later said he thought the man was going to shoot him.
- The owner recalled thinking, “God help me,” as the suspect threatened him at gunpoint.
- The alleged robber had first entered the restaurant as a customer, ordered food, left, and then returned multiple times asking to use the restroom.
- On the third return, the man allegedly pulled out a gun, threatened to kill the owner, and ordered him to get on the floor.
- Security camera video of the incident was later shared publicly by local media.
- The robber allegedly escaped with about $10,000 in jewelry, including an 18-karat Gucci chain, a bracelet, and a law school graduation ring that had been a gift from the owner’s parents.
