Thomas Jefferson said, “Nothing can now be believed which is seen in a newspaper. Truth itself becomes suspicious by being put into that polluted vehicle.” Sounds like corporate media today, doesn’t it? I don’t know about you, but I don’t believe anything I hear in the media until I check it first. But it does bring up an interesting question: if we cannot trust what comes out of the media, especially when it comes to politics, how can we consent to how we are being governed?
