House Speaker Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has come under fire for not allowing the general public to view footage from the Jan. 6th protests.
Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow told Steve Bannon he intends to sue Rep. McCarthy over his decision which exclusively gave Fox News’ Tucker Carlson access to Jan. 6 footage.
Lindell contested that McCarthy’s move was a violation of the freedom of the press provision in the First Amendment and the Fourteenth Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause.
The MyPillow CEO went on to suggest Fox News can not be trusted to report the truth about what is in that footage. “Why does just Fox get this? So they can cover it up even more? It’s disgusting.
