A Florida man who made alarming threats against high-profile Republicans Donald Trump and JD Vance has found himself back in legal hot water just days after being released from house arrest.
Michael Martin Wiseman, a 68-year-old from Jupiter, Florida, was first arrested in July on charges related to death threats posted on social media. His release on September 17, after agreeing to a pretrial intervention, was short-lived as prosecutors reinstated charges, citing written threats to kill, as reported by Fox News.

Wiseman’s threats followed an attempted assassination of Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, which resulted in a minor injury to the former president. The situation escalated when, on September 15, Ryan Routh was arrested for plotting to kill Trump at his golf course in Palm Beach County—just miles from Wiseman’s residence and near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property.
