FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino plans to decide on his future at the bureau in the coming weeks, according to sources familiar with the matter.
Bongino, who stepped into the role earlier this year under Director Kash Patel, has faced growing criticism as the Trump administration pushes to reform the FBI. Patel and Bongino took the helm with a mandate to root out perceived biases and refocus the agency on core missions like fighting crime and protecting children from predators.
During his tenure, Bongino played a key role in high-profile efforts, including the arrest of a suspect in the long-dormant January 6 pipe bomb case. On Fox News while announcing the breakthrough, Bongino addressed past comments he made as a podcaster.
“Listen, I was paid in the past, Sean, for my opinions,” he told host Sean Hannity. “That’s clear, and one day I’ll be back in that space, but that’s not what I’m paid for now. I’m paid to be your deputy director, and we base investigations on facts.”
The FBI also reported significant results in child rescue operations under the new leadership. Sources indicate Bongino has informed some field office leaders of a potential departure, with insiders predicting he could leave as soon as January 2026. His office in Washington has appeared largely empty recently, and his chief of staff has taken on a new role elsewhere.
Clashes over the handling of Jeffrey Epstein-related files added to tensions earlier in the year, including reports of confrontations with Attorney General Pam Bondi. The administration later appointed a co-deputy director to share responsibilities.
President Trump appointed Bongino, a former Secret Service agent and NYPD officer, to bring fresh perspective to an agency long accused of institutional problems. Bongino gave up his popular radio show and podcast to serve, fulfilling a commitment to put country first.
But criticism has come his way from inside and outside of the bureau. To go along with legacy media finding every opportunity to criticize them, a group of active-duty and retired bureau employees claimed the new leaders lacked direction.
“When the director and I moved forward with these reforms, we expected some noise from the small circle of disgruntled former agents still loyal to the old Comey–Wray model,” Bongino told Fox News at the time.
“That was never our audience. Our responsibility is to the American people. And under the new leadership team, the bureau is delivering results this country hasn’t seen in decades — tighter accountability, tougher performance standards, billions saved and a mission-first culture. That’s how you restore trust.”
Whatever Bongino decides, his time at the FBI has coincided with aggressive action on cold cases and child exploitation—results that align with promises to restore accountability and prioritize real threats over political games. The bureau continues operations under Patel as these personal deliberations play out.
Three Reasons a Coffee Gift Set From This Christian Company Is Perfect for Christmas
When you’re searching for a Christmas gift that’s meaningful, useful, and rooted in faith, you don’t want to settle for anything generic. This season is filled with noise — mass-produced products, last-minute picks, and trends that fade as quickly as they appear. But one gift stands apart because it blends genuine quality with a message that matters: a coffee gift set from Promised Grounds Coffee.
This small Christian-owned company has become a favorite among believers who want to support faith-driven businesses while giving friends and family something they’ll actually enjoy. Here are three reasons a Promised Grounds Coffee gift set may be the most thoughtful and impactful present you give this year.
1. It’s Truly Delicious Coffee
Too many “gift-worthy” coffees look beautiful in the package but disappoint when the cup is poured. Promised Grounds takes the opposite approach — exceptional taste first, thoughtful presentation second.
Their beans are sourced with care, roasted in small batches, and crafted to bring out a rich, smooth flavor profile that appeals to both casual drinkers and true coffee lovers. Whether someone enjoys bold, dark roasts or lighter, more delicate blends, every sip reflects quality that stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the biggest specialty brands.
Simply put: this coffee is good. Really good. Some say it’s absolutely fantastic. If you want a gift that won’t be re-gifted, ignored, or shoved in a cabinet, this is it.
2. It Spreads the Word While Serving a Real Purpose
There are many Christian gifts that are meaningful… but not exactly practical. There are also useful gifts that have nothing to do with faith. Promised Grounds Coffee bridges both worlds beautifully.
Each gift set delivers an encouraging, faith-centered message through its packaging and presentation — a simple but powerful reminder of God’s goodness during the Christmas season. The cups are especially popular and serve as a daily reminder of the blessings from our Lord. At the same time, the product itself is something people will actually use and appreciate every single day.
It’s a gift that uplifts the spirit and fills the mug. A gift that points loved ones toward Scripture while still being part of the normal rhythm of life. And in a culture that increasingly pushes faith to the margins, giving a gift that quietly but confidently honors Christ can make a deeper impact than you might expect.
3. It’s Affordable, Valuable, and Elegantly Presented
Many people want to give something meaningful without breaking their Christmas budget. Promised Grounds Coffee strikes that perfect balance — the sets look and feel premium, but the price remains accessible.
The packaging is classy, clean, and gift-ready, making it ideal for:
- Family members of all ages
- Co-workers or employees
- Church friends or small-group leaders
- Hosts, neighbors, and last-minute gift needs
It’s the kind of gift that feels more expensive than it is — and more thoughtful than most of what you’ll find on store shelves.
The Perfect Blend of Faith, Flavor, and Christmas Cheer
A coffee gift set from Promised Grounds Coffee checks every box: a gift that tastes amazing, conveys your faith, supports a Christian business, and brings daily enjoyment to the person who receives it. In a season when so many gifts are forgotten, this one stands out for all the right reasons.
If you want a Christmas present that reflects your values and delivers genuine joy, Promised Grounds Coffee is the perfect place to start.

we all despise you now and can see that you were all talk.
there is no saving your podcast, it’s over
It will be difficult to remove the ARM that the FBI inserted into Danny’s butt that makes his lips move. Trash Kash and Danny boy are huge failures.
The current number 1 problem with the FBI is PAM BONDI!!! Remove her!
Both Pam Bondi and Dan were poor choices, in my opinion. We need warriors who will not stop until people are arrested and prosecuted. Talking about someone and handing out opinions will not change one thing. Dan is a good guy, but he should be elsewhere, and she is just taking up space.
Dan has realized with the internal chaos in MAGA, mostly stirred by Trump himself, that the mid-terms will be the end of the road for MAGA. Trump is toast because he is blind to his ego.
He’s cutting his losses and positioning himself to return to normal life.
