Egard Watch Company has taken a firm stand in the debate over transgender athletes competing in women’s sports.
The company’s new “#Erased” ad features a young girl being encouraged to pursue a dream of becoming “the fastest runner in the world.”
However, despite her best efforts, her dreams are dashed by male athletes competing in female events.“I got this little nugget of an idea from my dad,” the girl says in the ad.“He used to watch me run and say, ‘aint no woman alive that can beat you,’ and I believed him.“He made me feel invincible,” she continues.“It wasn’t easy.
