Texas DPS drone captured illegal aliens crossing the Rio Grande into the US on a raft earlier this week.
The Border Patrol and the DPS are working together to prevent smugglers from bringing illegal aliens into the US. The raft was carrying four illegal aliens, one of them who was a 5-year-old boy from Guatemala.
A vehicle had picked up the group to bring them further into the US side of the border. The driver left them in the brush after failing to remain undetected. The child was hurt by cactus thorns while being left in the brush.
The driver, Javier Alexander Osorio Ruiz, was arrested for human smuggling and taken into custody by the Border Patrol. […]
