It is hard to believe how many times Alexandria Ocaseo Cortez has been elected to the House. She’s like a rash that won’t go away. She spends an inordinate amount of time on X/Twitter and and other social media spewing half-truths and lies then, lies about the lie.

Back in 2019, she lied while sitting in a committee discussing, ironically, social media lies.

In February 2023, I noted the following:

Alexandria Ocazio-Cortez (“AOC” to the masses) is is a petulant, imbecilic fibber and has repeatedly demonstrated that she is not just an unrepentant posing clown, but also one of the dumbest members in the House. Since her election in 2018, she has spent more time fire-branding than legislating and seems to spend the majority of her days preening on social media instead of doing anything useful. Her most oft-used tool is her ability to fabricate and act for the camera. And, when she speaks, she is protected by the Constitution’s Speech or Debate Clause and federal legislation.

Remember the stunt she pulled with the fake handcuffs? Nick Arama wrote:

We saw Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) pretending to be handcuffed during a protest outside the Supreme Court on Tuesday. They were not handcuffed despite their playacting which they both proved when they were able to raise their fists in the air. […]
