Now that primaries are winding down and Democrats are starting to look more intently at the general election for the midterms, their strategies are coming to light. The first part is a repeat of the last strategy: Trump Derangement Syndrome. But unlike in 2024, Democrats have the advantage of a weakened sentiment towards Trump from Independents and moderate Democrats. The Iran war has taken its toll which has made the President less popular than he’s ever been. His base still loves him, but the coalition that put him back in the Oval Office is currently not as behind him and the GOP as they were in 2024.
That can change, especially once the war is finally over. But for now, Democrats are still leaning on it hoping it will work out better for them this time.
They’re also going after another race war similar to the George Floyd BLM days of 2020. The difference this time is that they’re fomenting a lower key version. Less burning down cities, more screaming about racism.
Gaslighting and deflecting are part of the strategy. That’s always the case, but considering how well they’ve mastered cheating, they’re already pointing at Republicans and claiming they’re the ones who are going to cheat.
We will end today’s show with the winning strategy Republicans should adopt sooner rather than later if they want to retain control of the House and Senate as well as make gains at the state level.
