Editor’s Note: While both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris pretend to be saddened by the death of the hostages, they’re hoping nobody remembers it’s their weakness that allowed this situation to persist for so long. They and the international community are prolonging suffering for both the hostages and Gaza citizens by pandering to Hamas instead of demanding that the hostages get released before discussing a ceasefire. I’m not buying Joe’s and Kamala’s remorse. Here’s the news…

In a somber announcement, the family of Hersh Goldberg-Polin confirmed his death early Sunday, following his abduction during a music festival in southern Israel on October 7, orchestrated by Hamas. The 23-year-old, who had immigrated to Israel from the U.S. at the age of seven, was among six hostages whose bodies were discovered in tunnels beneath Rafah, killed by their captors just before an Israeli rescue attempt.

Goldberg-Polin, who lost part of his left arm in the initial attack, was a dual U.S.-Israeli citizen. His family, alongside friends, had tirelessly campaigned for his release, engaging with global leaders and the Biden administration in their efforts.

President Biden expressed his devastation and outrage over the incident, vowing that those responsible would face consequences. “It is as tragic as it is reprehensible,” he stated, emphasizing continued efforts to secure the release of remaining hostages.

Vice President Kamala Harris, also the Democratic presidential nominee, condemned Hamas’s actions, highlighting the organization’s history of violence and its impact on both Israeli and American lives. “Hamas is an evil terrorist organization,” she remarked, calling for global condemnation of their acts.

The other hostages found deceased alongside Goldberg-Polin were Carmel Gat, Eden Yerushalmi, Alexander Lobanov, Almog Sarusi, and Master Sergeant Ori Danino. According to the IDF, these individuals were shot by Hamas shortly before the IDF’s arrival. Israeli President Isaac Herzog offered condolences and apologies to the families for failing to bring their loved ones back alive.

This tragic event has reignited calls for a resolution to the ongoing conflict, with many pointing to the need for a ceasefire and a comprehensive deal to prevent further loss of life. The international community watches closely, mourning the loss of young lives caught in the crossfire of geopolitical strife.
