In the closest impeachment vote possible, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas escaped impeachment thanks to three RINOs. The House voted 214-216, failing to impeach Mayorkas.
RINOs Mike Gallagher, Ken Buck, and Tom McClintock voted “Nay” with Steve Scalise unable to vote due to health concerns. The fourth Republican “Nay” vote was Blake Moore who changed his vote in a strategic move to allow a future vote on the issue once Scalise returns.
The vote to impeach Mayorkas is DONE. It failed. As a member of leadership, Rep. Blake Moore changed his vote so Republicans can bring up the vote again in the future, possibly when Leader Scalise returns to Washington

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson thought he had the votes to impeach, but Gallagher reported surprised House leadership in the final minutes before the vote.

Should one read reams and reams of reports from the UN/IOM, tracking back to Dept. of State reports, one realizes that the State Department (US government) is funding all this WEAPONIZED MIGRATION and essentially it comes down to the DHS importing criminals — and not referring to ILLEGALS per se, but those with criminal convictions who belong to foreign gangs and cartels since, according to the official DHS stand or platform, ILLEGALS with criminal convictions and gang/cartel memberships are welcome in the USA, not grounds for deportation!?

Mayorkas is not the one that should be impeached.
It is Biden that should be impeached because Mayorkas is just following orders to draw a paycheck.
But that would take courage which we all know is the one thing that ‘republicans’ lack.
This was just a political play to tell their voters back home that they are serious about the border when they are really not.
