Andrew Tate was released on house arrest Friday after spending three months in prison while Romanian authorities pursued an investigation into alleged human trafficking, rape, and gang-related crimes.
Tate’s brother, Tristan, as well as two of his female associates secured release via the same order from the Court of Appeal in Bucharest, the Daily Mail reported . None of those four individuals have been formally charged with any crimes.
The former kickboxer enjoys a substantial online following and is particularly popular with young men given his advocacy of a hyper-masculine lifestyle. His Twitter account alone boasts 5.4 million followers.
