Failed political candidate turned abortion activist Wendy Davis just took on a new role with the abortion chain Planned Parenthood in Texas.
According to the Texas Tribune , Davis will serve as the senior adviser to Planned Parenthood Texas Votes, the abortion chain’s political arm, joining several other new leaders.
Abortion activists expressed hope that Davis will invigorate more grassroots pro-abortion action in Texas, where killing unborn babies is now banned and voters elected more pro-life Republicans to the state legislature in November.
“Wendy is an icon of the reproductive rights movement.
