Rep. Harriet Hageman slammed a federal counseling service offered to help U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services employees deal with “eco-grief” as another example of the “insanity of wokeism” during a speech before Congress this week.
Hageman, who was hand picked by 45th President Donald Trump to replace Liz Cheney, claimed the “eco-grief” counseling services are part of a wider federal government plan to advance the woke agenda.
Cowboy State Daily reports that the program took the form of “four-hour seminars offered to USFWS employees” to “help them cope with the effects of eco-grief – or anxiety caused by the perception of an existential environmental crisis.”
Hageman declared the program “another instance of the insanity of wokeism” that is being forced on Americans by “an elitist cabal of ecowarriors who are paid to destroy the very standard of living that allows them to focus on made-up crises, rather than focus on the jobs […]
