ADVERTISEMENT Two new polls have revealed that the majority of Americans believe that doctors and pharmaceutical companies should be able to be held legally liable for potential harmful side effects that arise from minors taking puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones, and are concerned about efforts “to expose children to the transgender movement.”
In one poll, conducted by McLaughlin and Associates in partnership with Summit.org , 71 percent of respondents said that they believe “pharmaceutical companies and doctors who promote puberty blockers and cross sex hormones for underage children seeking gender transition should be legally liable for any harmful side effects that arise.” 29 percent said they shouldn’t be held liable.
