Cash App co-founder Bob Lee was killed in a stabbing in San Francisco earlier this week, according to multiple news reports Wednesday.
Lee was reportedly attacked early Tuesday morning near the Bay Bridge at about 2:35 a.m. He died later in the day. It was unclear as of Wednesday afternoon why he was on the bridge and whether he was a pedestrian or motorist.
The 43-year-old Lee was the chief product officer of MobileCoin. He was the former chief technology officer of Square, as well as one of the founders of Cash App.
