A U.S. Army soldier, identified as 37-year-old Matthew Livelsberger, allegedly detonated a Tesla Cybertruck explosion in front of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, causing injuries to seven individuals.

Matthew’s uncle, Dean Livelsberger, claimed his nephew was a fervent supporter of President-elect Donald Trump and a proud member of the armed forces.

Dean described his nephew as a “super soldier” with a deep love for his country and a strong admiration for the MAGA movement.

Matthew, a Green Beret with a notable military career, had dedicated years to serving in the Special Forces.

“He used to have all patriotic stuff on Facebook, he was 100 percent loving the country,” Dean told outlets. “He loved Trump, and he was always a very, very patriotic soldier, a patriotic American. It’s one of the reasons he was in Special Forces for so many years. It wasn’t just one tour of duty.”

The uncle also had serious questions about the equipment Matthew allegedly used to make the truck explode, which included rudimentary fireworks and camping fuels.

“Matt was a very skilled warrior, and he would be able to make — if it was him, and if he did this — he would’ve been able to make a more sophisticated explosive than using propane tanks and camping fuel. He was what you might call a ‘super soldier.’ If you ever read about the things he was awarded and the experience he had, some of it doesn’t make sense when he had the skills and ability to make something more, let’s say, ‘efficient.’ His skills were enormous from what he had been taught in the military.”

Sure, they could use a crash course in America First principles, but they also deserve the opportunity to get creative and course-correct. A good starting point? Both Musk and Ramaswamy appeared to be expressing support for H-1B visas for high-skilled workers. These visas have often been criticized by the left and right for allowing companies to rely on cheaper foreign labor. Companies also maintain significant control over such workers; it’s difficult for them to switch jobs, and if they lose their jobs, they can be forced to leave the country.

Musk took to his social media site, X, on Wednesday to argue that Silicon Valley firms need foreign workers because there aren’t enough “super motivated” and “super talented engineers” in America. His statements quickly drew criticism from conservatives who support Trump’s draconian immigration policies.

“The number of people who are super talented engineers AND super motivated in the USA is far too low,” Musk wrote. “Think of this like a pro sports team: if you want your TEAM to win the championship, you need to recruit top talent wherever they may be. That enables the whole TEAM to win.”

The fact that certain races have different average IQs is an “inconvenient truth” the left refuses to acknowledge. Truthfully, this doesn’t do black students any favors. We’re not all the same. Different races excel at different things, and that’s perfectly okay. Pretending the playing field is level for everyone is a disservice to those who may naturally need extra help with certain subjects. This failed “math experiment” in San Francisco proved it’s also a waste of time, money, and resources. In an effort to claim everyone is “brilliant” at math and how “racist-free” they were, officials forced strong math students to lag behind with those who struggled. In the end, everyone lost—another predictable, epic failure of this “magical,” pie-in-the-sky progressive thinking.

SF public schools forced all students to take algebra in 9th grade instead of 8th grade because some weren’t ready yet.

The entire motivation was magical thinking. The reformers thought that if they repeated the incantation “all students are mathematically brilliant” it would come true.

They believed that giving students access to math classes at the same time (no one can accelerate, even if they prove they’re ready) would eliminate unequal outcomes.

They thought it was “unfair” to give students access to classes based on previous performance in math — that special access to extra classes and tutors accounted for 100% of the difference in math ability observed in students.

They blamed “white supremacy” — despite Asians outperforming whites on standardized math tests in the district.

And their experiment? It failed. The groups they intended to help are not taking or passing advanced math at higher rates than before. Enough.

This notion that everybody is “brilliant” at math is quite literally, mathematically impossible. […]
